Sublimation
Sublimation is the process of transferring an image or design printed on film or paper to another material in contact with the image by applying heat and pressure.
Using sublimation inks the image is printed through an inkjet printer onto either film or paper. Depending on whether you are using the 3D or 2D press, this image is then transferred when heat and pressure are applied, resulting in a full colour transfer to your part or substrate.
The type of printer to use depends on the size of product you wish to decorate and the number of parts per hour you need to produce. Whether it is small parts for proto-typing, or thousands of parts per hour with a custom built machine, we can help you chose the right solution.
